M. J. Goodner
Bio

A little about the life and writing career of the emerging author and screenwriter.

M.J. Goodner (also known as Micah J. Goodner) was born in 1976, in Indianapolis, Indiana.  At the tender age of  8 he wrote his first book for his 2nd grade Montessori school project, a story entitled Heathcliff and the Spaceship (as it turns out, this was also his first science fiction story... ha!).  Throughout grade school M. J. was proficient in all areas of English.  As result of the annual Indiana State standardized testing, he repeatedly placed in the 97th percentile and above in reading comprehension.  In the sixth grade, he was one of the few students in the entire school that read on an eighth grade level.

In Junior High, M. J. was enrolled in a School for Performing Arts, where he was accepting into the Telecommunications Magnet program.  It was here that he studied journalism and broadcasting principles.  In High School he continued this form of education, attending another Center for Performing Arts school.  There he was enrolled in the fledgling Integrated Arts Magnet, a state funded program in which the areas of Language, Visual, and Musical Arts were an integrated curriculum.

As an adult M. J. Goodner, has gained most of his writing experience from creating short sermons associated with his ministry school training and technical writing for former corporate employers.  Using the aforementioned experiences and his affinity for language arts, he has ventured into the creative writing field.  Thus far he has completed the sci-fi/thriller novel, Nargasaan Prophecy (published through Lulu Press, Inc.), a weekly series of sports articles on GetSportsInfo.com, two screenplays to date, as well as several other short writing projects.

A devoted husband and father of one, he spends most of his free time watching sports, studying the bible, and polishing his writing craft.
